Why people use it: as a weekly hair pack, as the conditioning step of a reetha and shikakai wash, and mixed into henna, where it tends to soften the red towards a cooler brown.
How to use: mix 2–3 tablespoons with water or yoghurt, apply from roots to ends for 30–45 minutes and rinse. Or add 1–2 tablespoons to your henna mix.
